So.. There comes a point where we need to know that this is only about our relationship with God more than it is about being a worship leader. He talked about being lose with our role as a worship leader because this is truly all about God. We can do our jobs but we need to know that it's not something we need to hold onto so tight that we begin to value our position more than God.
I can relate to this because sometimes it's easy to get caught up with what we do and who we are and forget what our true purpose is in being a worship leader. I'm going to work on being lose and just relaxing. I'm really bad at just relaxing as I'm a very stressful type of person. So it's time I was more lose with my position and just gave my all to God in the moment.
I really liked your honesty and insight in this. It's definitely easy to forget what our true purpose is. I like your effort to be relaxed and give your stress to God. It's very hard, but definitely worth it.
