Chapter 3

This chapter is about being humble. First let me define it. Humble: having or showing a modest or low estimate of one's own importance.
To truly be a worship leader we need to let go of your self righteousness and show our weaknesses. We have to be vulnerable and completely open. No one is going to want to listen to you if you're being conceded. It's important to be humble so people can feel equal around you and want you to lead them.

I have to say that I completely agree with this. I've seen so many speaks that are just totally full of themselves. I lose interest so fast and instantly begin to question them and why they think they can just push people to the Lord. You're supposed to help LEAD people in WORSHIP. I can't emphasize enough that it's not a competition.

  1. I like what you said about worship not being a competition because I think I fall into that category a lot. We need to realize that worship is for God, and it's not to win. We need to be more humble and realize that it's not about us.
